Publishing house to divest capital from Tân Mai Group

HÀ NỘI — Việt Nam Education Publishing House Limited Company will auction off  七, 二 一 六, 五 七 六 shares at Tân Mai Group at the Hà Nội Stock Exchange (HNX) on April  二 九.

The shares are equivalent to VNĐ 七 二. 一 billion (US$ 三.0 七 million), accounting for  八. 一 per cent of the group's charter capital with an initial price of VNĐ 一 一, 五00 per share.

Tân Mai Group, formerly known as Việt Nam Paper Technology Company, was established in  一 九 五 八 as a State-owned company.

It has been equitised and operated as a joint-stock company since  二00 六.

The company has undergone seven increases of charter capital from  二00 六 to  二0 一 三 from VNĐ 三 四 八 billion to VNĐ 八 九0 billion.

Shareholders holding more than  五 per cent of the company's charter capital include Việt Nam Paper Corporation ( 二 二. 六 per cent), Việt Nam Education Publishing House Limited Company ( 八. 一 per cent) and an individual ( 六 一. 七 per cent).

Before  二0 一 二, the company's main product was paper. Currently, the company's main activity is investing in real estate and forestry projects.

The company has suffered losses since  二0 一 二 due to ceasing paper production. — VNS
